Inland Empire Cluster Council (I.E.C.C.)

What is the I.E.C.C.?

The I.E.C.C. is the collective effort by the 9 United Methodist Churches in the area around San Bernardino that work together on projects in order to be more effective in serving Christ. We recognize that through us working together, with Gods direction, we can use our connectional system to accomplish Gods mission in the Inland Empire. We have discovered that when we work together, God uses us to do things none of us could do on our own.

Who are we?

The I.E.C.C. consists of the following United Methodist Churches: Colton, Del Rosa, Emmanuel, Highgrove, Highland, Muscoy, Rialto, St. Pauls & Trinity. Clergy and Laity from these 9 churches gather each month to share information, share resources and support each others ministries. Once a month the clergy gather for a lunch and dialogue about issues within the community.

What do we do?

We support many different projects together. We provide financial, material and volunteer support for Frazee Community Center where thousands are fed, clothed and house each month. Once a quarter we send missionaries to Joshua Tree to provide and cook meals for a community that is at risk. Every month we offer quality food at a reasonable price through our Angel Food Ministry. There is a prayers and squares quilting group that creates the most beautiful quilts that are then prayed over and given away to children and adults that are facing surgery, cancer treatments, extended hospital visits and those on hospice care. Together we have developed a joint youth program known as The Gate which draws youth 6-12 grade together from up to 12 different churches for a weekly youth program, mission trips and outreach. On special holidays we have joint worship services on Good Friday and Christmas Eve to strengthen the body of Christ. We find strength in letting God use our many different strengths for the his purpose to reach our community.
