Connection Points at St. Pauls San Bernardino

At St. Pauls, we recognize that a walk in faith is not a destination, but a journey. Sometime the journey can be exhausting and strenuous and other times exhilarating and easy, sometimes slow and relaxing, sometimes our journey can advance us to new places and other times we find ourselves at a dead-end. Every day, we are faced with decisions that require us to determine which path in life we are going to take. Our faith journey does not have to complicated if we take the time to focus on what is important deepening our faith, living in hope and seeking to Love God and our neighbor.

Worship is a great connection point!
For many, attending a worship service may be the first step in their journey of faith. Maybe youve been thinking about attending a church, or have been attending for a couple of weeks. Maybe you were a Christian at some point, left the church and are looking for something different. Maybe you have been a deeply committed Christian that was hurt at another church and are looking to get connected again. Regardless of where you are on your journey we would like to get you connected to a group of other people who are seeking to be deeply committed Christian. Simply, begin with a Journey 101 course, and then commit to Group Life. Though its not the only path you can take, we know from experience that this one works.

Participate in Community
Community is where we connect and explore the faith with others who are also on the journey. Its the place where we begin to examine Christianity, study the Bible and discover how we can know, love and serve God each day of our lives.

Commit to Group Life
At St. Pauls San Bernardino, we know one of the best ways to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ is to belong to a small group of other Christians that are seeking to know him in a deeper way. John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement understood that it was through small group ministry that we can be accountable to one another and to ourselves as we grow in our relationship with God. We currently have several small groups and are looking to expand this ministry. If you are looking for a way to explore and understand what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, join one of our small groups or if the times and locations dont work for you then lets start a new group just for you.

Mission Trips are A Great Connection Point
At St. Pauls, we know that one way to get connected is to go on a mission trip with one of our teams. As you spend time on a work team in Mississippi, Haiti, Honduras, or on one of the Native American Reservations with our youth, you will discover that you have talents and gifts that you never realized. People who go on Mission trips typically come back with a renewed sense of what is truly important in life.
